My PO was a lady in her 50s from the east coast, I would ask her this one thing:

"How the F%(# can you actually call this 2.5L "Peppy"?"

Then I would show it to her and laugh, "SEE I PLANNED ON LIFTING IT TOO! That sob story I used to get you to drop the price was an act! Dumbass!" (She had turned down one potential buyer because he wanted to lift her little old Jeep and put big tires on it and she just couldn't let her baby end up like that).

Nope, that wasnt nice, but then again, neither is this 2.5L

I would ask... "What made you think it was ok to twist the strands and hot-glue the battery cable back together after it was cut?"

No electrical tape, just hot-glue...

Why did you feel the need to spray paint the undercarriage over the top of the mud, oil, rust, dried up road kill and whatever. Haven't you heard of a wire brush sheesh!

Let's see...

Why he thought a 3" BL was cool..and a giant shackle lift as well..

Why he did the worst "rebuild" on the AX-15 which lasted me about 3 months, or about 300 miles of actual driving

Why he reused a clutch disc that had 3" broken off of it

Why he thought it was necessary to weld a 12mm socket to the threads of the shifter (who the hell needs a shift knob anyways. I like to have a round hole in my hand by the time I'm done driving... said no one ever)

Why he thought it was necessary to extend the factory radio wires about 20" each, therefore creating a huge rats nest of wires behind the JVC he put in

Why he "forgot" to mention that he couldn't get it to pass emissions before I drove off in it

And finally I'd ask how it felt to completely screw me.. he could've at least called me the next day

OK, RANT OFF

needless to say, it would've been a lot cheaper if I had of just found a stocker YJ and completely built it from scratch. Instead I was trying to get rid of my truck and looking for a mildly built YJ and now I'm completely redoing everything from the ground up..

I've had six yj's and there are a lot of questions I'd ask but there's one that I'd ask for all of them .... And it's when I get to replacing the radio .... What some people do with those wires.... It blows my mind I've seen hot glue, tape like the clear office tape stuff, tons of duct tape, and I sh!t you not gum.... Wtf were they thinking...

Man so many questions but particularly how do you sleep at night after passing off all these problems and acting like you didn't know about them? People make you wonder!
