Ignition System

So I replaced my rotor, cap, wires and spark plugs today with Performance Distributors 2.5KIT-BL - Performance Distributors Firepower Ignition Kit for 91-99 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ with 2.5L 4 Cylinder Engine - Quadratec and bosh platinum plus spark plugs. I think i actually heard my jeep say thank you on the drive afterward.

Funny thing was that when i was replacing the plugs, every single old plug was loose and took not even the slightest effort to unscrew. my #4 was so loose i couldn't tell if it was stripped and not rotating. BAD STUFF.

ahhh my baby ran so nicely to school, better pick up and little lose of power on acceleration through the RPMs. When on my switch backs i didn't have to down shift 2 gears but was able to stay in 4th gear

Pricey upgrade for sure. Did you really feel a significant difference in power?

pricey yes but for me worth it. I notice a power difference and also i am sure that my loose spark plugs weren't helping.

in the last two weeks i upgraded my air filter and cleaner my throttle body. I felt a *little* more power. with this upgrade i notice a little more power.

with the little 2.5L ill take a few bits of HP here and there. But honestly i am not just throwing shit on for no reason. Everything I am replacing is because it needs to be replaced and I am just spending a few bucks on something nicer
The guy who owned the jeep before me let it sit so long and also never serviced it. And my jeep hits 100k miles in 20 more miles
