Injectors

If I had an obstruction blocking a fuel injector could it come up as lean conditions? I am assuming it would since fuel would be restricted for that cylinder. I have had that error for a couple of weeks. Last month my air filter ripped apart and hit the Throttle Body. I pull it off and used a mirror to see if anything made it through but it looked clean. With this error I was going to pull my injectors and take a look inside right there. I see a lot of people upgrade to 19lb injectors, but I am guessing they pull them off motors themselves saying they got them for less than $100? I looked online and they are at least $50 a piece. I also replaced my O2 sensor not long ago which is why I am guessing that is not the problem.

I bought mine at

Jeep Fuel Injectors - Remanufactured Fuel Injectors for LT1, TPI, 5.0L, 5.7L Mustang

They have them for a 95 wrangler for $99.95 for 4 cyl, $129.95 for 6 cyl

Plus about $20 for shipping...

Usually if the injector was blocked you would get a skip under load. Have you carefully checked the TB connections for a split or broken hose etc?
