Better to use neon for early type plug and green crusier for newer style wiring harness as these not only plug and play but still use the retaining clips that don't work on the ford I donor injectors
I have dodge neon injectors in my 92 MJ and 98 XJ. I'm a huge fan of them. They don't really help out the butt dyno too much but they really seem to smooth out the idle a lot and help with throttle response
I have the orange ones in the middle of the photo I posted and they work good. Smoothed thebidle out and goot throttle response. The engine is deff. smoother throughout the throttle range.
Im using 1999 dodge Neon injectors in my 2001 TJ. Had to order adaptors so my injector wiring harness would work with them. Adaptors were $15.00. A lot cheaper than getting new injectors that had right hookups. Besides I got the neon injectors for free.
Now come on Friday, that's when adaptors arrive.

None with a stock engine as the PCM s internal map has injector pulse duration settings based on proper mixture at the stock injector flow rate
The reason to use other than stock injectors is to increase atomization of fuel based on newer four hole design not to screw up the normal ideal mixture and run extra rich
My injector adaptors came in a day early. Put them in and finally got to drive the Jeep after a few days. Of course theres no dramatic improvement in horsepower or anything but there is a slight difference. It now holds speeds in 5th gear a bit better and it seems to accelerate just a tiny bit better than it did before. As for better mpg, that remains to be seen but I doubt it will improve much if any.
Don't know about smit racing and I used the adaptors on a 4cyl. heres a pic of the adaptors themselves, they are about 1 1/4"x3/4"x1/2" (LxHxW)
Maybe they will work for what you need. Only $7.50 for 2 of them.
Yeah they look pretty much the same. The ones I have work perfectly. Had no problems and by using them I didn't have any taped up wires spliced together making it look all thrown together. Though im not above doing that if its necessary. LOL
