Unhappy intake exaust manifolds

So I go to replace my exaust and intake manifold gasket and apon reinstelation I went to tighten up the EGR tube and the damn threads were stripped before and of course I made them even worse trying to get it back on now I can't get it to start threading on either end and it's not even messed up on the intake sideI'm tempted to take it to the shop but figured I'd see if any of you have any advice or tricks to getting them back on

I've absolutely no experience with reinstalling the EGR on these but have you tried a tap and die set?
