internal slave cylinder problem

I replaced my clutch with a whole kit so theres a new slave cylinder and when i put the tranny up it leaked past the line going into the slave when i pumped the clutch, so i took i apart and found there was one too many "o" rings, i took it out and put it all back together and the line leaked again when the cutch built pressure, has anyone had this problem or any advice, thanks

The slave cylinders usually use 2 o-rings, and the hard lines are a real PIA to insert in fully.

2.5L Genius of some sort.

Yes I had the same problem. Rebuilt engine so I put in a new clutch with resurfaced flywheel. Everything worked fine until afew days after I got it running I noticed I had not put the hydraulic line clamp behind the bell housing bolt. So I put it under the bolt and in doing so I upset the line in the slave cylinder and lost the clutch. Pissed me off so I milked for a couple of days until I did the 4" lift and then pulled T-case and tranny down to the sye and an external slave cylinder mod. Just put the master line and new slave in last night with some tips on bleeding. Still waiting for a part should be on the road next week. The o-rings and little clip are PIA and can you imagine the beating all that will take on any god ooff road trails. Hard to imagine they were ever reliable. You will see here in the forum thread after thread one clutch problems so I went external right away. Good luck.
