Jeep insurance

Hey guys, I am sure thee are a lot of people out there like me that do not daily drive their jeeps. I am trying to find a company that offers specialty insurance for jeep owners that is similar to classic car insurance. I would like to get some sort of agreed value full coverage that will allow me to use my jeep for recreation but not cost as much as my daily's policy. I have a classic policy on another car that only costs me around $100 a year but none of the classic insurance companies do newer jeeps. Any suggestions?

Hm. Interesting. I have no clue. Im very interested to see how this turns out for you though... I just put liability on mine and its like $22 bucks a month. Full coverage would be nice but if they knew what I do with my jeep they would be retarded to even insure

I have mine insured with progressive. It's listed as "pleasure vehicle" whereas my wife and I's other vehicles are listed as "commuter vehicle". The pleasure aspect saves me a few bucks.

They also have an option to add modification/accessories that they let you set the value of. If youre ever in an accident you have to show reciepts for the mods and such to prove this additional value. With this option you have to have full coverage, and obviously the higher your tab goes for mods, the higher your premium will be. This probably wont save you any money, but it will at lease cover all those expensive jeep parts if you wreck.

Like tigerblood said. I have American Family insurance and have my TJ listed as a pleasure vehicle. They allow 7000 miles per year. I dont recall how much it costs, but it is considerably cheaper than as a daily driver.

I have mine as a "leisure only" vehicle on my esurance policy. As long as I don't exceed 2500 miles/year, it stays cheap. Since I really only drive the Jeep to work a few times a week and on trails, that 2500/year is doable.
