I'm going back and forth on how I should finish my jeep yj. I want some opinions. Either way I am going to have some chrome and diamond tread. Plus polished wheels. So with that being said I know that gloss black paint would look great just like the rest of them. But then again I like something different. So how do you thank flat black (hotrod style) with chrome would look? Or how would a full black rhino liner with chrome look? Mabey even a colored rhino liner? What are yalls thoughts? Thanks
Chrome only looks good with small accent pieces, such as a chrome grill and chrome rims. That's it. Anything else and you're turning your Jeep from a respectable offroad rig into something you would find in the ghetto that never touches dirt.

That's for sure. I'm not in to over doing it but What I really do not want is is a flat boring looking jeep. Just didn't know how the chrome accents would look with a flat black jeep or a rhino lined jeep?
:deadhorse: If you like bling bling away, if you want to rattle can flat black everything go for it.:surrender:One way or another there will be those that will chime in with their opinion on what a jeep should and should not look like. Make it what you want and be happy.:flowers:
Flat black with chrome highlights I think would be cool. Even better with stainless rhino lined tub with all stainless hard ware corrosion would never be an issue
If you are painting it flat black then may I suggest using plasti dip. there is a thread here that a guy plastidipped his entire Jeep and it looks quite good IMHO. plus you can take it off if you decide to go another route. I think if you are going to flat black it them maybe a little bit of chrome might look good. But honestly an entire Jeep bedlined isnt my favorite look. its all bumpy and crusty looking. But to each his own, some people dont like my yellow lol. Thats the beauty of owning a Jeep, do what you want and blame it on "the Jeep thing"
Doesn't matter if you have a little chorme on your Jeep, a lot of chorme on your Jeep or you want to play follow the leader and totally black it out, it's your Jeep, do what you like and makes you happy and don't worry about what other people think about it, that's what I do.
ive got a red herculined jeep with black hurculined doors and top and fender flares and the door handles are chrome and my wheels are polished alluminum and i think that looks tits so to each his own, imo just go for it and see what happens
I tryed to look around and find a picture of yours but i couldnt. do you have any up here? i would love to see it. if not do you have one you could email me? chris.narron@gmail.com
I say do as you please its your jeep what you want. I personally hate crome my yj is blacked out and after I'm done with the body work I will be painting it satin black my rims will b black centers with polished aluminum. The only crome I have on it is the tow hooks on the front bumper I think it makes it look mean and the little bit makes it stand out...

Saw a flat black dodge ram today with chrome handles, grille, and mirrors. Looked great.
