Jeep starts and the dies

My jeep will only starte for a second and then it will shut off,,, replaced the crank positon sensor, new cap and rotor, spark plugs, fuel filter. sound like it want to start and then it will boggle down like it starving for gas or air...please help new jeep owner here... 1992 jeep wrangler yj...

check your fuel pressure, and your pvc make sure its not clogged

Be sure to check your IAC on your throttle body. I think its called the Idle Air Control. I had some of those symptoms and did a tune up, replaced the fuel pump and some other things and it ended up taht i just needed to clean the IAC. 5 min and i was done and it ran smooth.

where is that located? what does it look like? I have a mechanic picking it up tomorrow so if there is something can do now that would be of great help. i appreciate your time on this..Thanks

mine was doing the same thing, i replaced coil, ignition module, crank sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, checked distributor, and it ended up being the computer(brain) behind the glove box. it was tthe last thing i tried because everybody told me they do not normally fail. just my 2 cents
