Jeep with AMC360 cutting out at top of hill

I have a 1990 Jeep YJ with an amc 360, Edelbrock off road carb and aluminum intake. I had it up tote sand dunes last weekend and it ran pretty good overall. When I climbed the biggest hill it would cut out near the top. I climbed shorter but steeper hills and didn't have this problem. I think it's because I'm burning more fuel going up test hill and the float bowl isn't filling up on the incline? Any suggestions?

Thanks, tms75.
