Jeep YJ Stuck in 5th Gear HELP!

Ok so i have a 95 jeep yj 2.5l 5speed
i just installed a 4in lift and everything was perfect after the transfer case drop. i drove around and hit all 5 gears and it was driving perfect. Took it out for another spin and after 5th gear it got stuck (idk if it makes a difference but the second time around i went to 5th gear way too early so it was really struggling to get moving).
idk if it has to do with the lift or not? the gears fells like its in neutral position but its actually in 5th. with the car on or off it wont go into any not even forcing it. any ideas on what to check or how to about this problem. try to keep it simple works please, I'm not a mechanic.

Is it stuck literally in the 5th GeAr slot? 5th gear has a chronic problem of breaking. All I can tell you is yank away at it if it is stuck in just the slot

no it feels like its in the neutral slot, but its definitly not because when i turn on the jeep it stalls if i let go of the clutch

There must be a pin that secures the shift stick, check it out, sometimes it moves from the original position and causes that the shift stick get stuck
