Pic of jeep? and u can do shackle lifts, or SOA lifts.. tho the SOA probably counts as a suspension lift :x

Sorry dude, your 1.5" is about the highest you should go without a suspension lift.
You can probably add another inch with shackles, but realistically, springs are about in order.
Easy options can be had, spend $500 on a lift that includes springs and all you need to lift it 4" then buy bigger tires....
other options can net you 2" with Waggy springs,. but you will also be stretching it 2" per axle... so drive-shaft work is necessary.

What is your reason for not going with a suspension lift?

SOA= Spring over axle, this lifts your jeep the diameter of the axle and spring and perch width.
Stock Jeep YJs are Spring Under Axle.

I have 33x12.50 on my 90 with no body or suspension lift. In fact the factory springs actually have no arch left either (flat as a board) so there is definetly room for the 33's.

I want to do a lift myself but I still can't decide between a SOA and a 4" spring. Not much difference in the money the way I see it cause with the SOA you're looking at needing the new shafts or SYEs. I want as much flex as I can get but it has to stay streetable.
