Just my luck.

So, i was driving home and my jeep kept pulling to the right. then when i got closer to home there is a big hill that i normally just pop it in neutral and coast... well to my supprise i started slowing down, alot. i get to the house jack the jeep up to take the tire off and check if the calliper was locking up and once again luck strikes again and taking the last lug off I broke 2 ratchets and stripped the lug out rounding it off. First i need a cure for the lug and then see if I'm on the right track as far as the brake locking up, is it common?

If this was my problem I would grind/whizz the stripped lug off, remove the Brake Disc / Brake Rotor, insert a new lug stem from the back of the rotor and reassemble.

Beating a smaller sized 12 point socket onto stripped lug has worked for some in the past.

Apply anti-seize in the future.
