K20 drivetrain swap

My boy said he will sell me his 3/4 axles and 4inch lift from his k20 pick up for my 89 yj for $500 and he'll give me his driveshaft out of his k20 but the drive shafts might not fit. If anyone knows about doing this or did this let me know what else I would have to get beside the driveshafts

You need a passenger drop transfer case. You need to remake all of your exhaust. Driveshafts will have to be modified. You dont want the springs they are too long and would make your jeep a skyscraper. Plus they would need you to relocate front and rear mounts. You will have to do spring over if you have not already. You will need a new steering setup either inverted t for 200 or crossover for more. Brakelines. You need 8 lug wheels.

Unless you know what you are doing and can fabricate its not a good idea.

2.5/ax5/ 231-300 doubler, 10b front (Reid knuckle, chromos, lockright, ORD/4ws hi steer, 14bff , detroit, discs, pinion guard) Warn x800i w/synthetic line, York OBA, Cage, Flat belly, miniboatside, tube fenders, xj rear springs, yj fronts , bilstein 5125s, comp cut, 104WB, H1 Double beadlocks, 37in Goodyear mtrs

Not for the faint of heart of the mechanically challenged. You'll find very quickly that the initial cost of axles is the very cheapest part of this type of swap.
