got a 91 yj and have been doin some reading and have been conteplating a spring over axle lift...would love the flex from this plus using stock parts cuts back on the $$ now i could spend $520 and have a rough country 4in lift shipped to the door...or i could do a spring over and ive seen a sye and cv shaft on ebay for $420 plus needing some traction bars..maybe make my own...as far as track bars for the front and rear...the rear i feel comfortable taking off do i need the front?? anyone done a spring over want to give me some insight or point me n a direction thanks
From talking with folks who have done one... cost is going to be closer to 1000+ to set it up and have it work the way it should. Steering is the biggest issue most folks run into.
yeah ive seen the jedi site....i like all the pros of doing this but with my tools and fab skills id prob make a big mess....i may jus go with the rough country lift
how do i post pics on here...im makin my own tube fenders and wanted to post em on here...thanks
