King shocks with leaf springs make a difference...?

My friend wants to sell me a set of King shocks for 600.00 to put on my YJ, but Im not sure if it will make that big of a difference since I have leaf springs. Does anyone have any thoughts on this or know anyone that runs them on a leaf sprung jeep? It would be nice if it would make a huge difference but Im thinking its still going to be a stiff ride...

They are a bypass shock type that came off a cherokee my friend is thinking it will make it even stiffer than it already is. Id be giving him 200.00 and a used street bike I dont use. I think what I should do is take that 200.00 and get myself a SYE one step closer to SOA
