leaf spring bushing replacement

Hello again. I'm finally getting around to replace my leaf springs, but I'm having a little issue. When i bought the bushing the guy at the advanced said the bushing were all the same size for the leaf spring. however when i got them home the bushing for the frame mount went in with a few smacks from a brass hammer. The bushing for the front leaf eye (shackle side) does not even look like it belongs anywhere near it.

So the question is does the bushing need to be pressed in or is the bushing really a different size than the other. To me it looks like the front eye bushing looks like the same size as the shackle bushing. The people at all the auto parts store don't really seem like they know what their talking about nor do they seem to want to help me. So if anyone can help me i sure would appreciate it
