Leaks from front axel shafts!

I recently just got new axel shafts installed on the front of my jeep! The shop i took it to did u-joints and axel shafts a week later I went out in the woods for a lil riding nothing to crazy no mud or water or any of that just sand trails and then went home and parked it the next morning right under both front axel shafts there was oil marks in the driveway when I looked at it a lil more i noticed that it was coming out of where the axel shaft goes in! i called the shop that did the work on it and he said he wasnt sure and I dont really trust them anymore so hopefully someone on here can help me a lil i dont know if its a seal that blew or if they were installed wrong im not sure!! lemme know what you think thanks with much appreciation!!!

Johnny

I would venture that they installed them wrong or damaged the seals when they installed them.

X2 on damaged seals. Was there any vibe while wheeling like the u-joints were bad? I know when I break u-joints on the front axle the vibe will spray oil out of the axle tubes...

They damaged the seals when they put the shafts back in. I did that to mine by accident. Gonna have to pull the carrier to change the one on the driver's side.

The seals are cheap 10 bucks or so, it's the labor that is expensive if you don't do it yourself. The fluid is gear oil.

The shop that installed your axle shafts should replace them at no cost to you. They damaged them...
