Lift Glass Supports for hardtop on 87 Jeep Wrangler

Having problems finding replacements for lift glass supports on 87 Wrangler. reoccurring problem is that the last two sets that I have ordered has had the plastic ends which are too big and do not allow enough clearance between the glass and the ball joint. The original set has a lower metal profile. Before I take a chance and ordering any online, can anyone point me in the right direction or have any suggestions

Have you tried NAPA? I saw some universal ones at my local store a while back. Sometimes they have to the the books out to find what you need. Some of the "chain stores" will not give you the time of day if they look it up on the computer

wherever you go there you are..........

I got a set from schmucks-oreilly, they had them on hand. They are the plastic end ones but they work fine.
