If your just planning to keep the stock size tires(235's??) Then I would say maybe just add some 1" lift shackles. This will help get the Jeep up a bit but still be close to stock ride. Cost will be cheaper than a lift kit, and for the time being you can run the stock shocks. Best thing to do for off road driving is disconnect the front sway bar. This will let the front axle flex more.
