Lift question

I know this has been questioned time and time again. I am looking for a new lift since one of my springs is bent and my shocks are old. I have 2.5 inch springs with 1" shackle and 2" body lift...if I ran with a 4" spring lift (as well as by shackle and body lift) with the t case drop, could I get away without the SYE and extended driveshaft? Should I just replace the front two springs and buy new shocks? Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

You could probably get away with out SYE. If I was you I would go with a 4in lift, ditch the longer shackles. They cause added stress on your leaf springs. BTW Im running 8in of lift with stock front drive line, longer one wont be needed. With your body lift and new 4in lift you will have over 6in of lift more then enough for 33's. You might be able to get away with 35's if you add front flat fenders and rear TJ fender flares.

Okay sweet. Yeah I was planning on ditching those for stock or boomers. But sweet I was not looking forward to adding SYE to the bill just yet.

When you get a lift kit make sure it has a T case drop if you dont already have one.
