lift question

I am in the process of installing my lift and I had to cut the rear axel leaf mount bolts, is that common? my jeep is a 1991 and has no under body or body rust. after cutting the bolt out I still couldnt get the bolt out of the old leaf springs. I think what happened is the bolt rusted to the metal bushing and the rubber bushng got all nasty and melted the the metal busing that was nside of it.

I am pretty satisfied with the kit(rough country 4") I got but the directins were missing some details. I quit tonight and all I have left to do is put sprngs n in the rear, everythng else is done.

Very normal, I had a lift on for a couple of years and had that problem when it was time to replace the springs that went flat. Tried for hours before I said screw it and ran it to my mechanic. No air and in an apt. complex didn't help!

also pulling the pitman arm I broke the first puller. I returned it and got another one. The store didnt have any pb blaster so I got this stuff called jig-a-loo and I would say t works pretty good. A good 2nd to pb blaster.
