Locker or limited slip ?

Trying to find out what my 99 tj Sahara package had for diff. Is the front a 30 Dana and the rear a 44 Dana ? If so did either have lockers ?
Thanks for any advice you can give me .

The front is a Dana 30. Rear could be either a Dana 35 or Dana 44 if yours was special ordered with that option. I believe only the Dana 44 had a limited slip option.

You can tell what model axle you have by looking where the differential is and it will be molded right into the housing. Either a "44" or a "35c" is what you will see.

As for the limited slip, easiest way to tell is to jack up one rear wheel off the ground and see if it spins. If it doesn't want to, your axle is limited slip.

Maybe try posting in the TJ section of the forum and you might get more responses!!!

No big deal! It's just that there are experts on both vehicles lurking on this forum and they're great at helping. TJ and YJ jeeps are similar in some aspects, so some of us on here may be familiar with it, but the experts will be there in the TJ forum!

This will help you identify your rear axle at a glance. The Dana 35 is shown as an AMC 35 in the pictures.
