While sitting at a light my break pedal slowly goes down while being pressed down. I let up and hit them again and they hold. I noticed the fluid in the front smaller compartment of the master cylinder is low. However no wheel cylinders are leaking. What is goin on? Is my master cylinder shot, or the vacume booster.
I have the same issue but my fluid doesn't really go low?? I'm considering the double diaphragm swap but haven't got around to it yet. I have a lot of other projects going on right now. I need to find out the easiest bolt in swap.
If the leak is under the dash where the pedal meets the shaft coming from firewall, would that be a faulty vacume booster? That's what the rod is coming from.
If it is master there has to. E a leak up there otherwise if a slave is leaking the master might be fine
See if the brake booster is filling with fluid
