Master Cylinder and Clutch 95yj

I want to pull my master cylinder out and try and clean it up a bit, clean the line. Does anyoen know how, or have a link? Also, My clutch petal has some play in it, is there any way to tighten this up? I'll be up late, I'm replacing my oil pan gasket right now and doing some other odds and ends

your brake master cylinder is held on by two nuts, loosen lines, and two nuts and its off. make sure you know what you're getting into before you start, such as bench bleeding the master cylinder if needed.
and about the oil pan, don't do what i used to do and fight the pan to try to get it out without dropping the drag link, pop the steering link off, and its falls out.

How do you bleed the master cylinder? Today along with these problems, now sometimes my clutch goes right to the floor like there's no pressure at all. I pump it a few times and the pressure is back and I can shift. Any thoughts?

sounds like possible problem with clutch slave cylinder. to bleed master, put in vice, hold it by one of the bolt hole spots. they make little plugs that thread into holes where lines come in, with hoses going back into resevior, or just plug the line holes with your fingers, and slowly push the piston in with blunt object, or screwdriver. while resevior is mostly full. fluid will be forced out the lines, it will be a little messy. don't stop untill bubbles stop coming into resevior. you might not have to do it, but just something to think about. if you replace slave cylinder, bleed it just like you would brake calipers.
