Maximum Tire on YJ 1994

Hi, I'm new in the forum. What is the maximum tire that I can install in my YJ 1994 4 cil. without lift or use of 1" shackle.

Thanks in advance.

My 94YJ had 1" shackles on when I bought it and I was able to fit 31x10.50s on it with very minor rubbing. I wouldn't go beyond that.

That's with stock flares? What happen if I changed to 6"flares?

My 94 is stock height running 31 x 10.5 and with the 7" flares and I have had minor rubbing. I am eventually going to upgrade my old suspension and put a 4 inch lift under it.

Wider flares aren't going to keep your tires from rubbing on the springs and inner fender.
