Post Moisture in Soft Top,Check Engine Light,Popping Noise

Hello to all. I am new to the forum and the Jeep world. I just bought a 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It is in great condition and I have gone through it from front to rear. All new lines, hoses, battery, starter, all fluids and seals, etc. I have put about 800 miles on it and the first thing I noticed is that when I crank it in the morning and let it warm up the check engine light comes on. If it doesn't sit at an idle for long it does not come on. Any Ideas?

Secondly, I have noticed a popping noise when I go over bumps while turning and especially in parking decks. Everything seems tight and it has new shocks. Is some suspension noise normal for jeeps?

Lastly, I just put the full top and upper doors on due to a lot of rain approaching and when it rains a lot small droplets of moisture form on the inside of the top. It is not a lot of moisture, but it is noticeable. The top is made by Bestop. Is that normal?

Thanks for any response. I am sorry for so many questions.

I have the moisture problem as well. If its an old soft top, it could just be losing the waterproof coating. Mine's 10 yrs old and until I get a new soft top, I try not to even drive her in the rain, because it will drip water on me the whole time.

As for your check engine light, there is a way to read the codes without a reader. Look that up online (I don't remember the trick off the top of my head). The. Invest in a Haynes manual and it'll tell what all the codes mean.
