Motor exchange

Does anyone out there know if a 4.0 high out put from a 2001 Cherokee will exchange with a 1991 Jeep wrangler?
If not what changes would need to be done? Is it worth it if it doesn't?

should, but would need to put all the electronics from 91 on to it. the 01 is obd2 the 91 is a obd 1. the injectors are diffrent, 24lbs yj's are 21. so you can use the block and head.
