Exclamation Motor troubles!! NEED HELP!

Hey everyone,
I've got an issue i need help sorting out with my Jeep. I finally finished the build in September and had been driving it since then til about a week ago. The motor that im running is a chevy 323 5.3 L out of a 2002 Tahoe, the motor had no issues and ran great up til now. The other day in the driveway i noticed a fluid leaking from the passenger side exhaust header at the bottom, and it was leaking enough to create a mark on the driveway. After discovering the leaking I also noticed a slightly fluctuating idle. I did a little research and learned that it is probably a cracked head gasket but with less than 70 K miles on the motor it doesnt seem to make sense. Also another common side effect of a cracked head gasket is white smoke in the exhaust however ive got no visible smoke. I am trying to get someone to look at the jeep this week as i am nervous that the more it sits the worse the problem might become. Any thoughts on what else it might be? Please let me know if i can include any other info that might help. I do have another motor that could be dropped into the jeep however it would be alot of money/ time wasted with the one thats already in it. Let me know what you guys think greatly apreciated!!

First, what kind of fluid is it?

Is it water, or is it antifreeze?

Blown head gasket or bad head could be possible, but the only way to know for sure would be to tear it down. The white smoke issue is not the only way to tell and is not always present in such a way you can see.

What kind of driving have you done? Short trips, or more longer trips? Maybe its just condensation dribbling out like the holes in mufflers.

Gotta stand by all you cool guys... Maybe it'll rub off?!

Hey Camarozz thanks for the responce,
It is water dripping from the bottom of the headers. I'm trying to get the jeep into a garage this week however i'm afraid if it sits to long the motor will be shit. I had been driving the jeep to school everyday from September to the beginning of this month. Its a 20 minute trip there and back all speeds 50 and below. Only had it on the highway once after getting an inspection sticker to come home. I went offroading a hand full of times a place with some light mud and decent hills. Motor seemed to be running fine all those times.

sounds like condensation..if it were a cracked head or blown head gasket it should be the same thing thats in your radiator..antifreeze/water mix
