Motorcraft carb swap

OK, this will probably seem stupid to some, but I've done some research other places, but decided to try and get some answers here.

There are a lot of threads on the 2100 carb swap, but is it a 2100 specifically, or the series? I ask because I have the chance to get a 2150 carb, and not sure it'll work. The only difference I can find is that the 2150 has metering rods in the venturi cluster, and the 2100 doesn't.

The 2150 works great. Did find out that any of the serirs will work, not just the 2100. Mine was a 2150 from a 1978 Bronco with a 351ci.
