Wheels and tires made the biggest difference.
The 2.5" lift was springs and shocks ?
Easy to install ?
I need to do that.
I have 30" tires on now and they rub. Looks much better than the stock 215 tires though ! :-)

You did 2.5" lift. Was it a spring lift? How about rims? Do they have any offset? Any issues with tires rubbing leaf springs in a sharp turn? I'm starting a similer build, but starting a lot further back. Have a lot of rust repair. I talked to 4wd and they suggest 2.5" lift with 235`s and a slight offset sheet.

Here's a 1" lift with 235/75 tires:

2.5" lift would open up room for 31" tires.

yes the lift is springs and shocks. the 33's are a little big i figure that they will rub wile offroading but i'm going to add 1in lift shackles later on. I'm not sure on the off set on the wheels but at full lock they do rub the leaf spring. I would really like to have some 32x11.50's but I already had the 33's from a old project. Saved me about 1000 bucks for now.

oh it wasn't really hard to put the lift on. i did mine in my driveway with hand tools and a grinder with a cut off wheel and a lot of pb blaster. it took a day and a half.

Absolutely do not need a lift with 235's.
My 30" would be fine with decent stock shocks
