Angry my new jeep =) but now it wont start =(

Hey guys do I got my new 92 Jeep about a week ago and I've been driving it around up until about 2 hrs ago. I went to the drive way to go for a drive and lo and behold the car wont start. And I mean, i turn the key and absolutely nothing happens. Only twice have the dash gone on for a split second. I tried jump starting it and nothing. I sparked jumper cables so I guess that means the battery's fine. I read a couple of threads and it seems that it could be the starter. I would like to know if this has happend to anyone else and if so Where is the starter exactly located so maybe i can figure this out myself?

Anyways, I'm still happy I got the Jeep. here's my first pic:

NEVERMIND GUYS! I looked in google images for "starter" to see how it looked like, went under the car and hit it a couple of times and guess what? That was it! Apparently a little research can go a long way. So yeah I gotta get a new starter tomorrow ASAP!

P.S. sorry for the crappy quality pic, I used my webcam.

if u hit it an it woked you should be fine, it just means the clutch can stick sometimes (the one in the starter) or the solenoid or w/e i cant remember exactly what part it is, but it should be fine, just bring a hammer, if it happens EVERY time then your in for a new starter

Just do yourself a favor and get a new starter ASAP, like you said. Eventually the one you have will strand you.

Takes about all of ten minutes/one beer to replace.
