My wiring disappeared

Went to replace the gasoline tank after cleaning, blasting, and painting. The mounting surface has the bolts to connect it along with the steel lines. I can't find the electrical connection plug to power the pump and fuel guage. The only series of wires I have been able to locate is for the rear tail lamps and third brake lite.
A short pigtail on the tank indicates it should be powered close to the drivers side frame rail. The repair manual doesn't have the diagram I need so it may be time for some spirits.
