my yj

OK got my rough country 4" lift from ups the other day im gonna post up some before pics today. when I got it it had alot of little problems, it is sitting bone stock suspension i have replaced the tailgate, hood, grille, and passanger fender. both motor mounts and tranny mount and re-geared to 4.56 gears front and rear and chrome molly shafts in the rear, also have a lunch box locker in the rear. Also put in a complete exhaust. After lift and tires I think I will be done til it gets painted. then new bumpers and a winch.

Just put the same lift on mine. I've used them before with no problems, but this time pass side sits 1/2 inch lower. Also I had issues threading all of the supplied nuts on the supplied bolts. I hope you have better luck with yours, but if I had it to do over again I would send it back.

ok started on the lift yesterday, thought I would be farther by the 6 to 8 hour job time in the instructions, but all I got done was the front suspension and the drop pitman arm. I already started the back but am in the middle of cutting the rear trackbar bolt out because the PO welded it in place.

got it done will post up tonight, I did notice the I have a nice click now after about 40 mph. I did notice a little slop in the u-joint strap on the rear I will try and add some urathane to it and see if it muffles it, if it does I will just replace them. does any one have any suggestions on a no hassle replasement that will get a good grab on the u-joints.

Here it is after the lift and I did find the clicking noise it was an incorrectly sold u-joint strap.
