My 2.5L would cook us. In the 89's without AC the fans don't turn off unless you turn the heat off. So heat off = to cold , fan on low = boiled.

My soft top leaks a bit on my 89 (actually, a bit more than that). So it's warm, but not hot. On the trails it gets HOT sometimes.

adjust heat

Can't you adjust the mix to control the heat? If not, then is there something wrong with the mixing portion of the heater? I can adjust that on my 94 Wrangler.

My 90 is the same way. The heat in that baby will cook you. I don't mean it gets hot, I mean it will COOK you. It's so hot you can't hold you hand over the defrost vents but so long. Not that I'm complaining. I love having heat.

Yep, same here. Mine is so HOT that sometimes I need to crack the window a little bit even in very cold days. I'm very happy with it.

Has anyone re-done the floor outputs with something like heater tubing? It gets hot for sure but seems like it doesn't blow onto your feet at all...

The heater in my 89 tries to cook my toes off and even when it's on low I have to partially unzip my window sometimes.
