My YJ went rolling down a hill without me in it..

so i was on my way home from work. i stopped my jeep in the parking lot next to my house, got out with it running and in neutral really quick just to get the mail. a lady drives up and hits the front tire as shes going around it. this causes the jeep to start rolling backwards toward a hill which leads directly into the main road. i was a good 30 feet away, so i drop what im doing, run around the jeep and perform a flying ninja kick into the jeep while moving to step on the brake (good thing i didnt have the doors on at the time). luckily i have quick reflexes or that yj would currently be a t-bone steak. =(

just a fun wrangler story for the day!

i had mine roll down the taco bell parking lot a long time ago, the e brake came off and started rolling. i'm stuck in that thing that weaves back and forth for the line, so i had to run left, then right, then left, then right to get to the parking lot just before it hits the road.

barely, maybe the tiniest of dents, but she does have about a 3 foot strip of rubber marks etched into the left side of her car.

good thing she didnt hit it a little more to the left or she would have drove right under the jeep and probably would have destroyed her hood. she had a really tiny little early 90s mazda and i have 33 inch mickeys and a 4 inch susp lift.

That E brake recall is still valid.
I just bought my 1990 YJ and I went to Jeep's site, put in my serial number to get the build list and they told me about the recall not yet done to mine.
