need advise

I bought a 95 wrangler but the guy I bought it from took the drive shafts out for towing . He lost or sold the yoke from transfer case to the front drive shaft . I have the shaft but no yoke . Can I use a yoke from other jeeps or do I have to find a 95 4cyl standard Yoke ? Thanks Richard

I think the YJ slip yokes are all compatible, but they are also known as the weakest link in the drive line. If your jeep is lifted or if you ever plan on lifting your a Jeep now would be a great time to look at slip yoke eliminators. You would need a new drive shaft,as well. Do some research on the SYE before you go any further. If you have funds I'd highly recommend you go that route. Good luck.

I'd get one that doesn't use the straps or drill the yoke for u bolts instead. I've broken a few straps in my day.

Napa sells both bolts and straps. It's where I got mine. They can look it up. Just told them model and np231. It's been awhile. And I know there are a ton of write ups about it.
