Need Help Installing Drive Shafts...

Ok guys... Im a rookie so please take it lightly on me. I just swapped in a sbc/700r4/233 combo. The tcase is still a slip yoke for now until I get the funds to upgrade axles and drive shafts.

To start... this is what I had.

As a result, I ended up with a drive shaft where the slip yoke from the blazer rear was swaped to the rear jeep drive shaft.

As far as my front goes... I beefed up the U-joints with universal joints to cross from Jeep to Chevy. No pics...

So here is where I am and what I need to know...
1. Do I need to lube the yoke before I slide it into the transfercase?
2. I was told to use blue lock-tight when I bolt the yokes in place .
3. Can someone write me up a step by step installation for idots?
4. Do I lube the joints after or before I bolt them in?
5. Call me stupid but... what do i need to keep the caps from coming off the joints once their lubed?

HEEEEEELLLLPPPPP

Also, is this normal. My driveline after the swap is a lil off. Will this be a serious problem? Thanks guys

:cheers2:

the sye should not have to be oiled and the caps on the ujoint should just slip on the ujoints. they should stay in place untill you put them up to the rear yolk. make sure you put the tcae into neautral and the sye and the rear yolk will line rate up.
