Need help with a noise

I have a 91 jeep wranagler. it has a knock in the bottom end of the motor. it goes away when you get the rpms up. checked timing chain. not sure what else to check. Thanks guys

Piston slap, rod bearing could be a couple of things. How many miles???? What RPMs??? To do any real meaningful diagnosis you need to pull the pan so you have to make sure it is really the bottom end and not the timing chain.

i checked timing chain its good. That was my first thought but it is still good. around 1600 rpm the noise goes away. only 125000 miles on it
