need help with crank sensor

I have a 89 wrangler ,,the motor went bad a year ago, i bought a used 93 2.5 fi motor, swap went good, i now have a problem finding the right crank sensor, need some advise..

The one on the flywheel mounted to the bell housing or the one in the timing chain cover???

its the one on top of the bell housing, the one i removed when swaping the engine is only a 2 wire type,,, the wiring harness i got with the 93 motor seems to have a 3 plug design, i have went to advanced auto and bought the one thats supposed to go to the 93 but the plugs are different, so now im kinda stuck on what to do, i can take images of the harness that i have if it would help any

When you swapped engines aside from the engine what harness are you using and did you chafe the ECU also?

Got to be an easy fix here

well i figured out the problem ,,i was looking at the wrong plug for the Crank sensor, i went to my friends 93 and followed the line, well sure enough i was at the wrong plug, boy do feel dumb.I would starve if i was a mechanic thats for sure, ,,Thanks for the reply's im sure you all will see something else im going to need answered, Again thanks so much

Don't feel bad I had my O2 hooked up backwards with the crank sensor once and yes doesn't start.

Welcome to the addiction and the forum. Post anytime good bunch here with a lot of knpowledge and experience.
