Need some help with soft window uppers

When I bought my Jeep the PO gave me an extra set of window uppers - but they don't fit. The posts seem a little too big even though they go into the door and they sit about an inch and a half too high and don't really line up with the windshield frame... I'd like to sell them - but I have no clue what they go to.

The first 2 pics are of the wrong doors and the the second are of the correct ones for an 89 YJ Sahara..

There are spacers that can be put on the bottom of the rods, but they will hold it up higher.
I haven't done it, but can you bend the frame rods where they fit into the door to get a better line-up?

It's a Jeep Thing ... I do understand!

If I'm not mistaken it almost looks like the last picture is a soft upper for a TJ. I haven't seen any YJs that the back topside is rounded like that. Weird tho for sure!
