Need to Replace seat belts. Suggestions?

My original seat belts are finished. I'm going to have to replace them. My Jeep is a 1992 YJ. Does anyone recommend a particular set that's a god quality and works well? Thanks.

I've seen places where they take your original seat belt hardware and replace the seat belt material webbing. There are a lot of those types of places but, I can't recommend any particular one. Something like this one, but this one seems kind of expensive.

I was actually just looking at them last night on Quadratec. They have fronts, rears and all the pieces to go along with them, like brackets and trim pieces. Quadratec is a sponsor of the forum and I have truly had good results dealing with them. Prices are always reasonable and usually the cheapest I can find. There is a link to their site on the side of this page.

I didn't see any OEM front seat belts in great condition on eBay so i was leaning towards buying a new set. I saw the Quadratec set for around $170 but saw a couple sets on amazon and eBay for around $100. The female ends look shorter than the originals on the almost all of the replacement sets. Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with a set of replacement belts??

I bought a set from Morris. I think they were 160 for the fronts. They are ok. Length seems identical to stock (female, you reuse the plastic cover thing). Latches seem the same. The belt material is thinner. They retract well. My only complaint is that they lock up if you pull too fast. And too fast means anything faster than really slow. We got used to it after a few weeks but it is definitely annoying.

@haroldpo6, I was looking at a set from welderjoes yesterday before you posted. Glad to hear they work well.

@Saberworks, I'm experiencing similar problems with my original seat belts which is why I'm asking so many questions. It is extremely annoying and sometimes they lock up and there is nothing I can do to unlock them. I'm afraid to buy new ones and run into the same problems.

Thanks for all the help gents.

When mine lock up I just let them retract a bit and then pull more slowly. When I say lock up I mean I can't pull them out further until I let them retract a bit first.
