Need Troubleshooting Advice: Turn Signals Cutting Out

Lost my turn signals a couple times today while driving.

Chased all connections--they were good far as I know (I can wrench any jeep til the cows come home but I'm electricity-stupid...)

Checked all fuses: good.

Not losing headlights, hazards, side markers or anything else which I assume is also routed through the under-dash switch...

Any ideas appreciated, thanks, Brent (AMC 4-cyl engine)

Mine started doin the same thing. I did some research and turns out there are a lot of recalls on the older wranglers. It started with my turn signals goin out like urs. Now My hazards, turn signals and a few other electronics dont work either. Well one of the recalls is the Bulkhead connector which from my understanding links a lot of the electronics and that this very well may be the problem the jeep dealership is replacing mine this week for me for free. I'd try that and I'll let u know if this fixes my problem.

I know this may sound simple stupid. But I had that issue and it end up being I had gotten water in one of my taillights which would interupt the whole circuit and cut them off.

Was haveing the same prob. found that the front turn signal bulbs were not locking in all the way, they are the spade type bulbs, so they would lose contact, also I used a flat finger nail file, the sand papper type and cleaned up all the conections, so far so good.
