Exclamation need vac reserve ball line help please!!!!!!!!

i recently removed all my emissions and vac lines and installed a offy manifold and edelbrock carb. there are two line coming out of the vac ball. one line comes out and has one of the 4x4 vac lines teed into it and then it runs to the port on the side of the manifold (this was like this before i bought the jeep). the other line has been cut since i owned the jeep as well. i was going to run it to carb vac port, but i dont know if this is right. all i know is when the line is plugged the jeep runs like crap. ive looked at the chilton and hayes manuals and i dont understand where i can run it since ive removed alot of that stuff. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'll have to look, but I think I have the one teed into the 4wd and a vaccuum source from the manifold like you do. I am pretty sure the other is plugged off. That ball just stores vaccuum. I can't see how plugging a line coming out of it can effect anything.

I have recently done this as well. The manifold vac should come from your carb to the red plastic vac line which goes to your transfer case switch. This will engage and disengage your 4wd. The vac ball is only a reservoir for vac. so not really needed as far as I can see. My vac operated 4wd setup is crap, with cracked lines and a sticky transfer case switch. You could technically connect directly from manifild vac to the red transfer case vac line. Mine ran lik crap until I traced and either plugged or connected to the correct source each of the vac lines. Did you remove or connect anything from the charcoal cannister? My current setup with a MC2100 as my carb is a filtered breather on the valve cover goes to the carb to be burned, PCV connected to the carb. The PCV is teed into the charcoal cannister labled "PCV". I also have ported vac for my vac advance and goes to the charcoal cannister I think as a signal. The carb bowl vent since I did NOT have a carb bowl on the MC2100. so that was capped off and the last was a line to the tank. That would be the 4 connections out of the charcoal/evap cannister. My EGR is capped off. anything else was capped off. All I know is that the jeep ran rich and like crap until I had all the vac lines accounted for.
Not sure if I am helping but good luck.
