Dealership advised me that my code22 light was a combination of the pigtail and the sensor, so they quoted me just over $500, which was about $80 in parts, the rest labor.
I'll be picking up the Jeep tomorrow, and ordering the parts. My question is, how difficult is swapping a pigtail? I'd imagine it's as easy as cutting the old one out and swapping the new one in?
Thanks, that's what I was thinking it would be. So, weird thing, I get it back and the CEL is gone. Haven't had a chance to look under the hood, but I'm going to go ahead and pick up those parts.
Or, if the lights off, maybe they fixed it 'accidentally' and I can just forgo buying those parts. What do you think?
Yeah, I took a look at it today, and the boot was pulled off the back of the connector, so I'm assuming I had spread terminals or otherwise poor contact that was correct. So, I'm going to go ahead replace that sensor and pigtail.
Now, if only I could figure out this 1200 rpm idle at operating temp issue...
