Angry New Jeep owner, Door broken! Need help!

Hi,

I am 16, just got my license, and my brother gave me his 1990 Wrangler.

He said there was a problem with the driver door since he got it, and now it has broken. It will not open from the outside.

I took it to the repair shop, and he said the previous owner tinkered with the insides so much, everything was so fragile.

So, I need new insides, and and outer handle. The repair guy specifically said I need "the Latch, the 2 Rods, and the exterior handle".

I have been searching online, and I cannot find anywhere that sells the parts I am looking for.

Otherwise I could get a whole new door (FULL DOOR, full frame), and he said he would take the insides out of a whole new door, and swap parts...

So, can someone help me out finding the parts? Or a door? Im not sure where to look or what to look for!

Thanks,
Mitch

Id start at a local junk yard. If you ever watched the dukes of hazard though sometimes having a door that doesn't open is gangster!

I have been to 2 junkyards, nothing. A U-Pull-R-Parts said they haven't seen a wrangler in over a year!

I do live in Minnesota, they aren't exactly snow-vehicles! Haha,

But I would rather not have to walk out of school and dive in my window every day!

I know quadratec.com and 4wd.com have the outside latches for around $20, but no clue about the insides

That Plus the ultimate in anti-theft devices.

You're probably better off just getting a new door. But that's IMO
