New member 1990 yj blowing blue smoke only when revving

Alright everyone I'm new here i just got a 1990 yj with a 2.5 5 speed anyways I can smell burning oil and it blows bluish gray smoke but only when you rev it in neutral smokes a lil when accelerating not to much though. What could cause this and how do I fix it? Could it be the pcv valve or something like that? I put 30 weight oil with a new filter and some stop smoke in it so far no luck!

you piston rings are shot... It is allowing oil to stay in the cylinder and burn with the gas.. Our you have bad valve seats either way you are look at a engine over haul..
