New member.. No Spark

Intro.. Rob Allen.. Pa.
Problem child: 1991 YJ
Issue: ok blown engine on my 2.5L. Found used engine on CL cheep from an 89 or 90.. Not sure if year. My little research said all was good so baught it. Got it home and then realized FI issues, belt issues, ect. Today installed donor, used original intake, exhaust, valve cover, distributor, thero housing, cut top of PS bracket to clear newer intake, modified PS return line and buttoned everything up looks good. Got a couple of unknown issues with alternator regulator (I think) that is not needed on older alternator and a mystery vacuum on intake to figure out. Go to turn it over and no spark. Thought perhaps coil bad. Got new still no spark. Pulled cap looks fine.. Brushed contacts still no spark. Here I sit.. Not sure if I missed something.. Or if there is something else I have to Frankinstien. Need your help and ideas.

Ok.. I know it has been a long time since my last post.. But you all know how a project can get set aside for another.. Regardless I am here with an update and more questions.

Purchased a new ICM.. Still no spark. Tried a new crack shaft positioning sensor.. Still no spark. Now I am questioning this. The donor engine was an 89 or 90.. I did not swap the flywheel. Is there a diff in the teeth on the flywheels that would throw off the crack shaft sensor? I am pulling at straws now.
