new to jeep world

i just got a 95 yj with 4.5 lift and 33's well it has a 2.5 5sp in now , was wondering if u had to choose stroker 2.9, 4.0 , 350 swap what easiest and cheapest route.

I would go with the 4.o all of them are going to take some time but 4.0 is a good choice in my opinion.

I prefer the 350 but the 4.0 is a good engine too..to me personally,putting money into a 4 cylinder is just a waste

Really??? I never expected that response from you...lol

Anyway, if you are considering a V8 swap or any of the swaps you mentioned you re going to need to address the rear axle. The D35 does not hold up well with bigger tires and more power. I would go V8. The time and money involved with any swap will come out about the same so you might as well get the most bang for the buck.

i got a 8.8 sitting in my back yard right now lol i am planing on doing when i have engine in drive till the 35 brakes and i have a ax15 i can get for 100 bucks
