Exclamation New to WF and need some help!!! - CAT/Windshield/TOPS

I'm new to WF and still somewhat new to Jeeps. I had a '92 I6 4.0 H/O for about 3 or 4 years and never really did any mods to it. I got rid of that in January and just got a '95 4cyl.

I'm planning on buying a project 6 cyl YJ sometime soon, but the '95 will be my daily driver for economic purposes.

My problems right now - 1: the windshield frame is rusted out and I'm worried it will begin to start leaking water soon, and ruin my electronics. Any ideas?

2: While driving my jeep yesterday, it suddenly began to lose power as I gave it gas. I tried to drive it to see if I could notice where it was coming from. I heard a bit of whistling coming from the mid center of the underbelly. This leads me to think that the Catalytic Converter could be clogged and jamming up the airflow. Could this also be decreasing my engine output? Any ideas?

3: I bought the jeep with half steel doors, a bikini top, and two less than a year old soft tops (one with tints, one with no tints), but only one set of hardware. I'm looking for a Black hardtop, and black full Steel doors. I'm located in NY and willing to drive to pick up the goods within a reasonable distance. I'm willing to pay cash, or trade one of the new soft tops.

Thanks in advance,
Will

for thinking its the cat. mybe clogged.... do you smell alot of exhaust in the cab? you probably would w/ a bunk cat. quadratec sells windshield and cowl gaskets for your seal problem, all of them for about $50 bucks. and they sell replacement windshield frames as well. i think they run about $140 bucks and obviously you will need new glass, but you can get that localy. hope this helps

It actually turned out to be both the Cat and the Muffler. My cat somehow caved in and a few small pieces broke off. The pieces shot back in to my muffler and both needed to be replaced. Also, because the airflow was blocked up so bad in the exhaust, it sent a backblow through the engine, blowing out oil through the pcv valve in to the air filter - Nasty stuff.

Anyway, shes back on the road and running great.
